Overview
Alvin Lee was already a legend. As the frontman of Ten Years After and one of Britain’s most influential blues-rock guitarists, his cultural impact was undeniable. What didn’t yet exist was a cohesive brand capable of carrying that legacy forward in a modern, meaningful way.
At the time, Alvin Lee’s presence lived primarily as a historical website, a valuable archive, but not a fully realised brand. There was no unified identity, no clear narrative system, and no structured way to support ongoing storytelling, fan engagement or future commercial opportunities.
Engage Convert partnered with the Alvin Lee estate to create a heritage brand that honoured the past while building a platform for the future.

What we Delivered
A Brand System Rooted in Legacy
We created a unified brand identity designed specifically for a heritage artist. Every visual and narrative decision was made to feel timeless, avoiding trends that would date quickly or distract from the music itself.
This system brought clarity and consistency across digital platforms while giving the estate a flexible foundation for future use.
Storytelling with Intent
We defined a clear content strategy for social media, focusing on curation, pacing and context rather than promotion. By structuring how stories were told and when they were shared, we ensured each moment carried meaning and respected the depth of Alvin’s career.
This approach allowed the brand to communicate with fans in a way that felt considered, authentic and purposeful.
Building a Usable Archive
By creating order and accessibility, the archive now supports ongoing storytelling and future brand activity with ease.
Designed for Longevity
This ensured the legacy could continue to grow, evolve and be shared consistently over time.
