Dean St Studios is an icon of the British music industry. Based in the heart of Soho, the studio has been home to recordings from some of the most influential artists of the past five decades, including David Bowie, Adele, Ed Sheeran and A$AP Rocky. It remains one of the last truly independent studios operating at the highest level.
As the industry evolved and new technologies emerged, the challenge was clear: protect the studio’s heritage while ensuring it continued to feel relevant, progressive and creatively ambitious. This moment coincided with the opportunity to introduce Dolby Atmos for Music to the UK, a significant shift in how music is produced and experienced.

What we Delivered
A Modern Heritage Brand Language
We evolved Dean St’s visual brand language to balance history with innovation. Rather than replacing its heritage, we refined how it is expressed, creating a system that feels confident, contemporary, and respectful of the studio’s legacy.
Typography, layout and visual tone were carefully considered to ensure the brand feels credible to established artists while remaining accessible to a new generation.
A Digital Platform Designed for Artists
UX decisions focused on clarity, ease of use and credibility, ensuring the site works as both a brand showcase and a functional tool for artists and production teams.
Launching Dolby Atmos for Music
In collaboration with PMC Speakers and Dolby, we led the creative delivery of the UK launch of Dolby Atmos for Music at Dean St Studios. A multimedia campaign was developed to explain, demonstrate and showcase the capabilities of immersive audio in a way that felt accessible and exciting.
The campaign balanced technical credibility with creative storytelling, positioning the studio as a place where artists could experience the future of sound.
Social Presence and Merchandise
We extended the brand into social media and merchandise, ensuring consistency across content, tone and visual expression. Social content was designed to highlight artists, studio culture and innovation, while merchandise provided a tangible extension of the Dean St identity beyond the studio walls.
These touchpoints helped reinforce the studio’s cultural presence without over-commercialising it.
